Who provides the app

optinCV is provided by Melihcan Günbay (Bariton). This policy covers the iOS and Android app. Questions and requests about this policy can be sent to support@bariton.dev.

Documents and photos

CVs, job descriptions, extracted text, drafts and optional photos are processed on your device. The app has no account, document sync, advertising or analytics service, and does not upload your documents to a Bariton server or an AI service. A draft is kept for the current session unless you choose to save it in app storage. Saved drafts may contain the original CV and job text, edited draft and photos. The app also stores local preferences and a free-draft counter.

Files, backup and sharing

You can import text-based TXT, PDF and DOCX files; the originals are not changed. You can copy draft text to the system clipboard, export a PDF, or create a ZIP backup of saved CVs. The ZIP is not password protected and may include CV and job text and photos. Files shared through the system share sheet go to the destination you choose, which may be a cloud service with its own privacy practices. Temporary export and photo files may remain in app cache until cleaned by the app or operating system. Device backup settings may also include app data. Keep exported files private.

Store purchases

Apple or Google processes monthly Premium payments and keeps its own purchase records. optinCV receives the product, local price and purchase status needed to provide Premium; it does not receive your payment-card details. Purchases and restores use the store account you chose. See the Apple Privacy Policy or Google Privacy Policy for their practices.

Website and support

These public web pages are separate from the app. Site hosting may process ordinary connection and security logs. If you email support, your address, message and any information you include are used to answer your request. Do not send a CV, identification document, password or card details unless specifically necessary. You can request access to or deletion of support correspondence at support@bariton.dev, subject to applicable retention duties.

Retention and choices

Unsaved drafts are session data; saved drafts remain in local app storage until you delete them or remove the app. Removing the app may erase local copies, but does not delete files you exported, operating-system backups, or store purchase records. Use the app to delete saved CVs, manage exported files in their destination, and manage your subscription in your store account.

Changes

We may update this policy if the app or legal requirements change. The current text and update date will appear at this address.
